Walk at High Elms - Organised by Derek Miah

Meet at the Beeche at 10.00am for a 10.15am start.

We will visit two fields,’The Conservation’ and ‘The Orchid’. If it is a really nice day there will be a chance of a picnic. There are benches in the Conservation field, but no tables. There is a cafe/restaurant in the Beeche. Visiting both fields will last about 3 hours.

Tuesday Evening Social Outings

Meet at pubs at 8pm. Many have opportunities for photography in the surrounding area prior to socialising. All pubs serve food.

The Angel Islington, surrounds & The Regents Canal. - Organised by Mike Spurway

Starting with a coffee stop at one of the nice cafe's locally, the walk willl start in earnest at the local Chapel Market (Small but one of London's oldest street markets), then on to visit the local Culpepper Community Garden a little peace. From here its off to hurly burly of the Camden Passage with its antique stalls and curiosity shops.

Then its a gentle walk to join the Regents canal at the Islington Tunnel where we can walk along the canal path to the City Road Basin, where we can partake of refreshment canal-side at 'the Narrowboat' pub. From here members can do there own thing before returning.

Travel:
Train from Hayes to London Bridge, then the underground to the Angel. (times to be arranged).
